Star Trek: Starbase 777 - etd-transporter-room

Kya stepped into the transporter room, having picked up a rifle on the way. She also made sure to strap a pair of phasers to her belt just in case. Kya placed her rifle down as she started to check over it. “Mhm, let’s see here. Yep, yep, all good.” She said as she stood up.

Into the transporter Aoife wandered, checking over her rifle with the almost intimate familiarity of a veteran soldier back in the saddle once more, as this was her rifle, there were many like it but this one was hers, her rifle was her best friend her rifle was her life. The old chant known by soldiers from earth for centuries stuck in Aoifes mind whenever she picked up a rifle. (edited)

Boo, it's a ghost! Just kidding, it's just the ACOO, tying her hair up into a proper bun instead of a loose ponytail. "Here we go," she mumbled.

Hell yes they were. "Hello!" Rehszan greeted cheerfully as he entered.

“Hello there!” She said equally cheerfully to the scientist.

Entering the transporter room, the Ferengi glanced around at everyone present, feeling just a tad nervous about, well, all of it. She hadn't been on an away mission in quite a while, and it was only typical that the one she'd signed up to seemed really rather dangerous and/or dark and miserable. It wasn't going to pass a vibe check or whatever it was she'd heard people say, that was for sure.

T'Kastrir entered the turbolift with his satchel over his shoulder. Unlike the others, of whom were in the excursion variant of Starfleet's uniform, he himself was still in his Expeditionary Group robes (with commbadge attached), only wearing boots now instead of shoes.

Lilian entered. She felt confident that she could figure out something with her expertise. She double checked her away bag and adjusted her uniform slightly.

Saren soon stepped into the room as well, expedition uniform on, toolbag by his side. "I hope everyone is prepared for this..." he stated somewhat quietly, standing still in anticipation.

Eshen entered the room, Allan not far behind. "As I'll ever be."

Kya nodded as she stood on the transporter pad. “I am ready as well. Hopefully, we can find some survivors.”

Timi, who had definitely been on board the entire time because their roleplayer absolutely did NOT forget or fall asleep or anything crazy, came walking into the transporter room with a phaser on his right him, and his bag with his AAC PADD on the other, hoping to stick mostly to sign language.

Farrah, similarly, had been there the entire time, and while she knew the tone of the mission was grey, she didn't really know how to anticipate what they'd find down on the surface, so she just prepared herself for keeping other people safe and being a sample donkey, or something.

Yo, it's Cronos! Here he is, yet again. Ready to improve your day even just a little bit. He made his way over to the rest of the group, got himself ready to go with all the necessary equipment and waited for the signal.

They cleared their throat. "While we wait, does anyone want to see pictures of my cardinal tetras?"

Evoras, who totally did something useful during the last two days, also entered that transporter room. Aside from the obvious difference in uniform and an additional bag she looked much the same as always. After greeting the people she saw with a nod, she quietly joined them in waiting for the mission to move forward.

"I want to see them, but I don't know what cardinal tetras are," Farrah admitted, figuring the blue skinned man was in blue, so... an animal, maybe?

They showed pictures to Farrah and anyone else who wanted to see. They were of a small, thin fish with two horizontal stripes on each side: a bright red stripe on the bottom half and then an even brighter, almost neon blue stripe on the top half. "It is one of the fish that I have."

Vara'l moved smoothly into the transporter room and nodded slightly to those he knew out of those who were there. When he spotted other tactical officer, he headed over to stand near them and nodded to Lieutenant Commander Pok in greeting. "Lieutenant Commander."

Kya nodded. “Commander.” She said in the short form for their rank.

"They are very small," Farrah concluded intelligently, which wasn't a conclusion she came to infrequently as a 6'7" 215kg android woman... though this Lieutenant held up the picture at a great height for her by virtue of being the same height as her.

"Unlike us," they said to the person the same height as them. Certainly very unlike Rehszan. "But they are still perfectly suited for their environment. I am hoping there will be interesting creatures on the planet's surface to look at, even if they are not sea creatures."

Indeed, Allan had arrived right behind Eshen and Saren. As expected. He nodded when Eshen said 'as I'll ever be', which was typically an answer he'd give as well - and then quickly nodded even more as he heard Thalass speak up. "Oh, you know I do," he said with a smile, also not knowing what cardinal tetras were but excited to learn, and then he looked at the pictures with so much amusement in his eyes. "Oooh, a fish... a pretty fish," he concluded, looking from the pictures then to.. the person in the engineering uniform across the room with three full pips on their collar. He figured he would be best not to approach. For now. In case this was some crazy Tal Shiar plot where Alizati had been replaced or something like that.

"I will tell you if I see one," Farrah promised Thalass solemnly. If there were interesting creatures, she wouldn't mind seeing it either. She knew absolutely nothing about animals, but she liked ones that were cute, and creepy, and a little bit weird... she just liked looking at creatures, to be honest.

Vara'l glanced to the others and then calmly spoke with Kya. "I don't believe we've talked at all much if at all before this." He commenced as he watched the other and noted their use of the short form. "So I felt I should say hello." The ACTO commented as he smiled slightly.

"Officers, we're locked in! Please get ready for transportation!" one of the OPS officers responsible for doing just that chirped in.

In a hurry, Matryx jogged as he prepared himself for transport. "Hold, one more second," Matryx said, making sure he and Ten had a chance to be beamed down. After a quick check to ensure he had everything, Matryx nodded to Ten and then back to the OPS officer. "Ready, thank you!"

Vara'l did as directed and got ready for transport. That is after he rapidly checked his equipment as he calmed his mind and prepared to beam to a colony that had been attacked from orbit.

Rehszan peeked over Thal's shoulder to look at the photo. "They're very pretty. You take very good care of them." Oh, was it time to get ready to go already? Wonderful.

Ten quickly followed behind Matryx, his shirt still on backwards and the aide kit around his back a belt with a few hyposprays and Tricorder clipped on "Ready to go sir" Ten smiled.

"Your shirt is backwards, Lieutenant," Rehszan pointed out politely. No clue how he managed that, because they zipped up in the front, but...

Matryx genuinely didn't notice, having prepared for this away mission distracted him from something that should have been obvious. "Oh! Thank you lieutenant, I should have seen that too," Matryx thanked Rehszan. "Quickly, lieutenant," Matryx told Ten. "You might have time before we transport."

“Oh yes, I’m rather new. Thank you for introducing yourself, I’m Kya.” She said with a hum as she locked in for transport.

Without saying a word Ten took off the pack and set it next to him, his right cybernetic arm rotated 180 degrees to unzip the shirt, underneath he was still wearing his night shirt which read "Starfleet academy Strategema club" he then put his shirt back on quickly zipping it back up and tossing the backpack back on.

Woah! Transportation beam be upon ye!

Ten arrived at the Eventide, still sniffling and holding back tears, he did not say a word as he was beamed in. He just proceded to #etd-sickbay he wanted to at least check in there. Mabye he could try to help.

Kya sighed as she stood there after transport, back to the bridge then. “I’ll see you all later.” She said as she headed out.

Materializing back on the Eventide with-- just when did he start to hold two hands?.. Nevertheless, Saren looked around, then at the rest of the team: "I think the samples should be brought to the science labs. As for the satellite... that is something for the bridge to do."

Vara'l materialized and slung his phaser rifle. In silence, his jaw set and tense and his expression a distant mask of minimal expression, he beelined straight for the door and out.

"That sounds good," Rehszan replied cheerfully, still holding a bunch of samples somewhere on his person.

"Mhmm," Allan nodded in response to Saren, thinking about nothing much more before he realized that oh, bridge people was him this time. "Oh! Yeah. Bridge," and since they were all on the bridge last time, it only made sense he'd lead them out of here to there again. The little daisy chain of boyfriends continues onwards.

As part of the daisy chain, he followed.

"I too have samples. Let us go to the labs." With that, they left the transporter rooms.

Before being completely taken offscreen, Saren probably entrusted one of his colleagues with his own samples - that being the wood from a healthy tree, plant scans, as well as black ashes off the ground.
